Helping children

We provide financial assistance to children with serious illnesses who need to travel abroad to access specialised treatment that isn't available at home. Because treatment overseas is rarely covered by insurance, the cost can be overwhelming for the families we support.

To ensure that every child can access the specialised medical care they need, regardless of where they live or their family's financial circumstances.

The treatment exists
We make it reachable

Every case reaches us the same way: a child's medical team has exhausted the options open to them, and what could still help — a specialist centre, a clinical trial, a surgeon who has performed the procedure before — is somewhere else. Our role is to make that treatment reachable, closing the gap between what a family can raise and what the care actually costs.

Neurosurgery

Operations on the brain and nervous system, at specialist paediatric centres.

Oncology

Cancer treatment, and the months of care that go with it.

Spinal surgery

Corrective procedures that restore movement and prevent further damage.

Cardiac & specialist care

Heart surgery and other complex care, with our partner hospitals.

What a single case can cost

No two cases are alike. The figure depends on the surgery, the hospital and how long a child needs to stay — and it sits on top of travel, accommodation and follow-up care.

  • The treatment that could still help their child is in another country.
  • Insurance rarely crosses borders, so the full cost falls to the family.
  • For most, raising that amount alone is simply not possible.

How it all began

It started
with a brand
of his own

In December 2023 Andrey launched his own clothing line, RUBLO, now AR Born, and the proceeds from its first collection, Play for the Kids, funded the foundation's launch in 2024. Today a lot of the funding still comes from Andrey and from private donors. The rest we raise through:

Featured story

Meet Isabella
from Buenos Aires,
Argentina

Isabella was seven when weeks of headaches led to a diagnosis no family is prepared for: a brain tumour. She was operated on within days at a hospital in Buenos Aires. The treatment she needed next was at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, far beyond what her family could fund alone. With the foundation's support they made the journey, and Isabella spent most of 2024 in treatment there. She is home in Argentina now — at ten she continues her rehabilitation, back at school and back with her friends.

A former ATP professional and coach with more than two decades in the game, and now Andrey's agent. He advises the foundation on its work across the tennis community.

Founder

A professional tennis player ranked as high as world No. 5, with 18 ATP titles to his name. He established the foundation in 2024 and remains one of its principal funders.

Responsible for the foundation's day-to-day operation, from assessing the cases that reach us to working with our partner hospitals and directing where funds are allocated.
